Ken Glidden, Post Commander

The American Legion is an organization of veterans of the United States armed forces who served in wartime. The Organization was founded in 1919 by veterans returning from Europe after World War I and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to organizing commemorative events and volunteer activities, the American Legion is active in U.S. politics. Its primary political activity is lobbying for the interests of veterans, including support for veteran's benefits such as pensions and the Veterans Affairs hospital system. Today, the group has nearly 3 million members.

Post 298's general membership meeting is held at the Post at 228 North 20th St, Battle Creek Mi; the meeting begins at 7p.m.  Visit the Post and enjoy a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, relax and try one of the food specials offered. Our purpose is to aid all veteran's.  I f you know of someone in need please contact us, we just may be able to help!  Our Mission: Veterans serving Veterans.
